Claudia Holzinger und Lilly Urbat (DE)

Holzingerurbat is a modern day company related to the event industry (trivial entertainment). The main offers are hyper realistic services. This includes eg. the planning and arranging of a companys party, specially for a nonexistent but efficiently operating business within a public institution. As well as the documentation and commercialisation of the presence in other people’s filter bubbles.

The artists and CEOs Claudia Holzinger und Lilly Urbat work in their fictional biographies 24/7, concentrating on the multiplication of their own self. Throughout solid and personal engagement, the use of contemporary picture language and years of experience, HOLZINGERURBAT offers productive solutions for the interpretation of reality, measurable against highest standards and best know-how as well as conscience.

Ewa Doroszenko and Jacek Doroszenko (PL)

During the residency at Petrohradská Kolektiv Ewa Doroszenko and Jacek Doroszenko have been working on the project “Soundreaming”, a digital audio-visual archive which uses the environment as the main impulse for the project. Inspired by location, experience and memory and motivated by the inversion of the traditional roles of photography and sound in the media and art worlds, “Soundreaming” emphasizes the importance of the acoustic environment on our memory and perception of place. Started in 2014, the project is being carried out within the framework of „Artist-in-Residence“ programmes in various European cities, including Prague, Barcelona, and Linz. Both Ewa and Jacek are deeply involved in the revelation of a new aesthetic code, which is still in the process of being defined, according to the many possibilities arising from their multidimensional and complex practices.
